It would be nice to rewrite this gh-milestone extension in Go according to @vilmibm's excellent demo on YouTube:

Right now, it is written in bash, which, while was quick for prototyping, has various limitations such as not usable on Windows unless the end user has bash installed, for example.

Alternatively, keep looking around; perhaps someone else has already written a similar extension that we can just use, haha!
