I think it should just follow my suggestion in #25 and the maintainers can place the "read more" tag wherever they want on their page. |
No one will maintain two places of the same information. |
It would also be possible to remove the detailed sections, improve the general overview for each application and maybe only put in the publication(s) for each of them. This would mean less work for the authors and someone really interested in the application could find more info in the publication anyway. |

I have put this separately, because it needs more involvement from the application authors.
GENERAL
Application descriptions need to be more uniform, like 2-3 sentences per application about what it does. Also make alphabetic ordering based on tool name not on description. The detailed pages of each application should also be more uniform and adhere to a common structure.
