The current terraform module requires Terraform 0.12.x and AWS 3.x which is rather old.
I see that there is an existing approved PR with support for Terraform 1.3.x and also eliminates any specific AWS provider version requirement. This would fix my issues, but it seems to be languishing.
Is there a reason for the delay or is this something that can be merged/released?

I see that the PR has been refreshed, but not approved. What would the expected timeline be for merge? Trying to decide if I should go my own route with respect to terraform code as the current module requires a TF version too old to be usable.
