Proposal to add "two clicks" mode to shape tools

Currently Line, Rectangle and Ellipse tools work with click + mouse drag.
I propose to add an alternative mode which would register two clicks on canvas and draw a shape between them.
I vaguely remember that Line Tool used to work this way.
Having a selector to choose between the current and "click" mode would be great.
