Prevent immediately-unlocking extensions

In the case of #395, the "Extend" button is disabled until I choose a valid duration for my extension. However, I can bring the slider back to zero and the button is still enabled. It should return to the same disabled state it was in when the page was loaded and the number of months was negative.
