Currently, on STS at least, automatic path patterns are mostly only "content/[title]"
It could become /essays/an-example-title for an essay,
With faceted search this becomes more difficult, and /essays might redirect to /search?content_type%3Aessay for example.
The idea is the URL path parts would also have corresponding breadcrumbs. (Facet redirect idea might make easy path-based breadcrumbs impossible, and they would have to be fully custom.)
Or we radically change how facets work, which may be helpful in combating the denial of service by bots (by accident or on purpose) that facets and their infinite combinations open up.
