Website is too static.
We would prefer to use more elements that move like: https://www.istockphoto.com/search/2/film?phrase=brain

Video+short text is needed. Perhaps text on video.
Text floating on top of the image (making sure text is visible)

Colored backgrounds are helpful to separate sections. But not interspersed white separations
Spacing between text and icons on the landing page and three Icons is key to make this look good (Research, Team, Publication).
