What is the role of SCOW in the HPC system? #2
-
Assuming I am using the OpenHPC software stack on my HPC, could I use SCOW to replace OpenHPC? Or SCOW is an extension for OpenHPC? |

The main purpose of OpenHPC is to build HPC clusters. SCOW is a portal and management information system on top of HPC clusters. After clusters are up with the help of OpenHPC, SCOW can be used to help operating clusters and provide a better experience for users. It is like Open OnDemand but with operational functionalities and much more. We will give an example of how to install SCOW into the OpenHPC architecture in the future. Thanks for your attention! |
