Overview

Implementation needed for the 15-hour universal free childcare scheme calculation in PolicyEngine UK. The scheme provides government contributions towards childcare costs for eligible families. (Documentation link)

Note

It applies to England only. Different programs operate in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Key Features

  • 15-hour of free childcare program
  • Output type: yearly hours (0 or 570) for each child
