Zomato is a popular mobile application in India that connects customers to nearby food chains by providing their delivery persons. It is essential to have a rough estimate of how much preparation would be enough. This estimation can be achieved by what we call demand forecasting. A demand forecast is vital for all business decisions: sales, finance, production management, logistics, and marketing. By applying relevant algorithms such as Bagging, Boosting, XGBoost, Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM), Support Vector Machines, and more, businesses can make accurate predictions about customer demand.
