Currently the board has 3.3V rail only and 5V power requires bulging a wire from the regulator input pin to the sub circuit board that uses it. Route 5v to EXT would be a much cleaner alternative.

For pin selections, possibly repurpose one of the GND pin as 5V. This requires a pinout change and breaks compatibility, thus in V2.
