Chat info sidebar misbehaves

Bug description

When opening a new chat, if the user has an existing Chat Info sidebar open, the info should either update to match the new chat or the sidebar should close.

How to reproduce the bug?

In a chat, click on the top right button to open the sidebar. Then, without closing the sidebar, open or create a new chat. The old sidebar remains open and does not update.
