https://rsetoolkit.github.io/roles/new-rse/#where-are-rses-and-rse-roles-based lists just central and embedded RSEs, providing the impression that all RSEs are located at universities. It would be good to also list RSEs in industry, self-employed RSEs, RSEs in non-research non-RSE groups (such as in a library), RSEs at research institutions and institutions such as the MetOffice, etc. etc. https://society-rse.org/careers/case-studies/ gives a few examples of alternative RSE roles.

Content can be very time consuming to prepare and it is important that the value and benefits of any new content are understood in order to prioritise the preparation of new material.

It is important to show the large variety of RSE roles, and make sure that everyone feels included. Our RSE landscape workshops (see, e.g. https://society-rse.org/the-rse-landscape/ show that there is more to RSE than just university research software. We got the feedback in the past that the RSE community can seem like it is only focussed on that.
