localhost no longer connects after running this script

Forgive me, I am new. I ran this script and love the results, but i have ran into a few problems. I cannot log into the Spotify app, i cannot use comfyui or automatic 1111.

I get the following:

This site can’t be reached
127.0.0.1 refused to connect.
Try:

Checking the connection
[Checking the proxy and the firewall](chrome-error://chromewebdata/#buttons)
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I can ping localhost and 127.0.0.1 with 1ms response time.

Any pointers or suggestions would be helpful. I cannot find any results online.

AH OK:
i had to reinstall chrome. Setting it as "default" was not enough.
