Sophie Kershaw, who unfortunately is unable to come to the meeting, put together a really great course on learning reproducibility by using rotation based learning. Explained further: Rotation Based Learning and Post-Pilot Report.

The aspects of rotation based learning I feel would be most powerful in teaching reproducibility is exercises which 1. allow learners to attempt to create a small project that can completely reproducible and 2. attempting to reproduce a project. One of the problems with teaching reproducibility methods, is the problem I see when teaching any "method": there needs to be a context to apply the method. This rotation based learning approach gives this context, in a potentially flexible way.

Some caveats - Is this a structure that could be easily implemented across many disciplines? If we structure curriculum in this way, would we be requiring group learning of reproducibility methods as opposed to creating material that can be disseminated to individuals?

Either way, I look forward to conversations about the structure of curriculum and education material.
