Hi,

I tried search the string "35140873022055000176550020000123191448883686", without quotes, but not have any result.
See the result:
img_1

But, if I search the string directly on Elasticsearch it is found:
img_2

I tried to reduce the string and I only found a result with the substring "35140873022055000176", without quotes:
img_3

Any idea?

Thanks.

We seem to have the same issue - if the word is longer than 20 characters it doesn't return any matches. Is this configurable anywhere?

Hello,
You can adjust the max_gram value here https://github.com/Undev/redmine_elasticsearch/blob/master/app%2Fmodels%2Fparent_project.rb#L30

Later I will try to find the best idea how to fix this.

hi nodecarter, many thanks. Are there any performance/stability issues if we make that change?
