Description:

When a channel is archived in EmbeddedChat, the chat UI does not behave as expected. Specifically:

  • The archived state of the channel is not reflected in the chat interface.

Apart from that
The topic of the channel overflows in a bad manner when topic is long.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Archive the channel in RC
  2. Observe the overall behavior in EC.

Expected behavior:

  • The chat UI should update to reflect the archived state of the channel.
  • The channel topic should be followed by (...) when the topic is very long

Actual behavior:

The channel topic should be displayed below the channel name in the chat body header, when set

@SinghaAnirban005 I think currently the topic appears but only when you maximize it
