Releases: SRGSSR/srgmediaplayer-apple
Date information
This minor update provides a way to retrieve the current date at which a controller is playing a live or DVR stream. A similar property has been added to the slider class as well.
VoiceOver compatibility
This maintenance release mostly adds VoiceOver compatibility. Default labels are provided, but you can still freely override them as needed.
Instructions have also been added at the bottom of the subtitles list. These instruct the user how subtitles can be customised (since there is no way to directly open the dedicated Accessibility page).
External playback improvements
Airplay should not be used with external playback when playing audios. This release documents why, and improves Airplay button behaviour to be better compatible with such use cases.
Bigger, better, stronger
Version 2.0 is a robust, consistent and clean overhaul of 1.x versions. The main philosophy and scope of the library stays the same, but concepts have been refined to precisely delimit the purpose of the library, making it easier to integrate, more reliable and stable, in short, more enjoyable to work with.
Starting with 2.0, Carthage is the only supported way of integrating the library with your project. Have a look at our Migration guide for more information about what changed and how you should migrate your code.
