When using system dialog to modify settings and then subsequently connect to server, the terminal will freeze temporarily while it attempts to connect to server.
If server is readily available (ie server is running at whatever IP:port terminal sent the handshake to) this freeze is so short it is not even noticeable. I am actually only assuming the freeze still occurs in this case.
However, if the server does not respond there is a very noticeable freeze. The terminal then freezes for as long as it attempts to connect to server (5 times at 4 seconds each, 20 seconds total). After that time, terminal dumps all of its prints at once and begins normal operation again.
Note that this ONLY occurs if you launch the server settings dialog and select the "connect" option. Connecting using the regular terminal command works fine!
