Во-вторых, заменили классический gzip для сжатия на zstd со словарём

Как мы отказались от JPEG, JSON, TCP и ускорили ВКонтакте в два раза

VK поддерживает сжатие запросов с помощью zstd. Чтобы более эффективно сжимать данные, используется словарь, который загружается откуда-то с серверов. Если кто знает, как получать словарь и его версию, пожалуйста отпишитесь.

Версия словаря передается через заголовок x-zstd-dict-version.
