Write debug messages to a file

Hello,

it is possible to write the debug logs to a file instead to send to stdout? I am running 2 sensors on the same PI zero W and one of them is not working as expected.. The PI is in the basement and I don't have a monitor there to tshoot.

LE : when running with rc.local the messages are sent to /var/log/syslog and in order to identify the messages I duplicated the script and modified the default HB and Vibrated messages , so now I can identify the source. Hope will help other people.
