This is copy pasted from the SimDynamX internal repository, so most or all of the links here will be broken.

Most notable changes since 0.21.0:

• Deterministic mode for Compute_Server
  • Instead of using (Async mode) multithreading and system clock for the simulation, use a single thread and planned-ahead updates
  • All C++ Systems guaranteed deterministic order of updates and sim time for those updates
  • Sim Clock is still valid; typically no user code changes required to switch to deterministic mode
  • Enable by adding -det command line arg
  • Python Systems aren't synchronized in this way
    • They are also not synchronized for Async mode
    • Sim time will still be mostly correct; Compute_Server keeps timescale as zero but continuously updates sim time
  • Will be enabled for use with Unreal client (SpaceCRAFT) in a future version.
• 3D Model Import can now read files from Local/ (User Files)
  • These are in C:\Users\Yourself\AppData\Local\SimDynamX\STPro\Assets
  • C:\Users\Yourself\AppData\Local\SimDynamX\STPro\Assets\MyFolder\myEntityConfig.json -> Local/MyFolder/myEntityConfig.json for referencing assets in a Sim Config or Entity Config.
