Hey, I've been using the app happily for over a year. A few months ago I've been experiencing sync issues. A few weeks ago I decided to logout and log back in the hope that it would resolve the issues. But now it can't sync at all (see screenshot below).
When logging back in it did ask if I wanted to sync my local data to Trakt. First I said yes, but was unable to sync. Then I said no (afaik my local data is now cleared), but to no avail, it still won't sync.
Notes:
It's probably related to the amount of shows episodes 7500+ and movies 500+o I watched, Trakt itself had been slow when browsing my profile/dashboard/progress.
After using a different app to see if it was Cathode or not, I came to the conclusion my account had been locked.
After contacting Trakt support I received the following response:
Hey n2k3,
It looks like Cathode stuffed your account with 260k play history items. Your play history has been deduplicated to the best of our ability, and your API access has been unlocked.
Before using Trakt's API again, make sure to find a fix from this third party applications developer, or disable it entirely.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Hope you are able to update the app, to prevent this from happening to other users.
