photos shown duplicated for a few seconds

Hello, For a few months now I have the following problem. whenever I open a folder in the gallery app (for example the folder "camera") all my photos are shown dublicated for 2-3 seconds and then they are shown normally (1 copy per photo) as they should.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but without any success.

Any idea what could be the issue? I am using a Xiaomi phone with MiUI 14.0.5, android 12, and the lastest version of simple gallery pro.

thanks, didn't know that. I just switched to Fossify. The bug that I describe in the thread, doesn't exist in Fossify!
