For Google Bot, there is a delay up to 1 week between normal indexing (HTML only) and Javascript-powered indexing (using Chrome 38). See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFwUbgvpdaQ&feature=youtu.be&t=898

And that's for Google Bot only. there are many search bots out there that doesn't support Javascript indexing.
