Potential backup site for NOMADS for NWP data fetch

The NOMADS website was having some technical issues and the data team at NWS/NCEP recommended using the backup website:

• https://www.ftp.ncep.noaa.gov/ in place of https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov for the time being

The structure looks a bit different between the endpoints but the model name, hour, valid hour, dates, and netcdf or grib2 file structures appear to be the same.

Would help to talk to their data team to be sure of the structure and their input on using it as a backup.
