the navbar now looks clumsy and nav links are not arranged properly

Expected behavior

Display all the nav links properly with enough spacing and add hover effects

@Soujanya2004 I would like to work on this issue. Because of as i raise a ISSUE on searchbar responsiveness problem in #144.
That's why it would be grate if you assign me this same ISSUE.
