There are many bluetooth device trackers out there now, like the Chipolo, Tile, PebbleBee Honey, etc. These work by detecting when the bluetooth devices are in and out of range. Typically this uses the connection events combined with the pre-existing google location history to work out where you were when you were last connected to the device. These are combined then to show you likely location of a misplaced device.

As similar information would be held by the xDrip app about when the last bluetooth connection to the xBridge device was made, it would seem straightforward to map this against location history and provide a map location for where the device was last "seen". This would be handy if you (or your kid) loses an xBridge and should not require any additional battery or computing power, presuming that GPS is already on and the xdrip is operating normally.

I'm not sure if there really is a practical use for this but if you have ever lost your xBridge then I'm sure that you wish you'd had this feature!
