The gold planner does not take into account entry limits for raids.
If I have a 1505 character, the total gold for the character in the planner shows as the sum of HM Valtan + HM Vykas + HM Clown + Brel (G1-G4) == 19,000. But a character can only do 3 raids a week, so the 'Total' is not correct.
Would most likely need to add a toggle on the gold planner to select the 3 raid you plan on doing for any given toon.

In addition, the same goes for the checklist and the shared party planner. There, the solution is a little simpler, whereby the leftover legion raid can simply be greyed out in the checklist, and not appear on the planner at all, once three have been completed.
