Hi!

Is there any plans to publish and version the underlying format. Similar to the zarr-specification [1] ? Great work on this project btw, it looks really promising!

Yes, we do have plans to release the v1 spec. We are also thinking of a steering committee to improve the spec and the rest of the library based on user feedback. If you're interested, let us know!

Great to hear! Seams like this project will have a great future!

I'm currently just exploring mdio, and I got to say, I really like it. Even if it's still early days, it shows great promise. Kudos! If we would end up using mdio for our projects we would definitely be interested in being involved upstream!
