Dear Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out for clarification regarding the GLM-130B model and its associated licensing terms. On the GitHub page, it is indicated that using the parameters of the model requires authorization, yet the repository on the same page is noted to be under the Apache 2.0 license, which is typically permissive.

Specifically, I am looking to understand the following:

  • Model Architecture Code: Where can I find the architecture code for the GLM-130B model? Is it included in the repository that is mentioned on the GitHub page, or is it located elsewhere?
  • Applicable License: What license applies to the model architecture code? Is it the same Apache 2.0 license as the repository, or are there different terms that we should be aware of?
  • Commercial Use: Given the licensing terms, am I able to use the GLM-130B model architecture for developing a commercial product? Are there any specific restrictions or additional authorizations required for such use?

My understanding is that the repository provided on the GitHub page is intended for evaluation purposes. However, for our development strategy, it is essential to have a clear understanding of the licensing boundaries, especially when considering the model for integration into commercial solutions.

I would greatly appreciate your prompt clarification on these points to ensure compliance with your licensing policies and to determine the feasibility of utilizing GLM-130B in our projects.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
