When trying to select a violation the list looks blank but the text is equal to the background color. Also It would be nice if the drop list could be justified to the left of the screen.

What browser/platform is this on? I was unable to reproduce either problem on Chrome, Safari, or Firefox on MacOS, or on an iPad, or on an Android tablet.

During the event a few weeks ago I discovered the issue on our Referee stations which are Microsoft Tablet PC running Edge

The CA Branch I was running was my own with the Enable 3-8 alliance Double eliminations and a few other minor tweaks.

Right Now I'm running a clean Clone of CA on my Laptop with the same anomaly. Testing with Chrome

While reading a few posts on HTML Select drop-down boxes it seems these anomalies are common to a fault and that each browser handles these differently. The solution seems to be to write a bunch of Javascript and create the option box manually.

I've seen this reproduce on Linux + Chrome during the Mexico All-Star off-season event. Definitely made it difficult to pick out

I changed the 10% opaque background from white to black, but I don't have a device capable of reproducing the issue so I'm not sure if that will fix it.

Better but IMO not great

Adding color: black; makes the dropdown better but does change the main window too
