I noticed the controller stopped working properly after installing Hakchi on the console. For some reason the buttons seem to remap and the D-Pad doesn't even work on the main menu where you choose games. I uninstalled Hakchi and the controller works perfectly. After installing again the same problem begins, I tried to restart the controller, use the macro inputs, update the firmware of the dongle, and nothing seems to work.

Only 4 buttons "work" B button works as A, A works as C, and X works as B. It doesn't make sense.

Lastly I tried accessing the console via FTP and try to find a file that is causing this, but I could not find anything out of the ordinary.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is it fixable? Please let me know!

Hi, you have the problem console wide or only on certain titles?

Hi, you have the problem console wide or only on certain titles?

The problem is console wide, it doesn’t work in the menus or in any game. I installed Project Lunar and the controller works with it. So the problem is 100% Hakchi.

Edit: Sorry I miss clicked the close issue button. Kind of new here.

I use Original controller, a Wii pro controller, and a 8BitDo retro adapter and all works more than fine.

but I have mini NES Classic, you talking about Project Lunar make me think you have a Mega Drive Console so I can not test.

I'm having the exact same issue using the 8bitdo Bluetooth USB receiver 2 with an m30 (8bitdo 6 button Genesis) controller. Works great with the stock Genesis mini but as soon a Hakchi2 is installed I experience the same behaviour you are. Hope this bug can be resolved as I'm all in with 2 m30 controllers and dongles. Wouldn't have bothered with the Genesis mini had I known of the bug. FYI the Bluetooth M30 controllers work great with Retropie

Installed today and same issue. Retrobit 2.4ghz wireless Big 6 controller stops working with hakchi2 installed. Controller still connects to dongle and face buttons seem to work, but the dpad does not, rendering it useless. I hope there will be a fix for this?

This is still an issue with the latest version. Big 6 useless when hakchi 2 installed. FYI my 8bitdo m30 Bluetooth also stops working with the v1 and 2 usb dongles. Also my mayflash pro 2 in Sega mode also fails to allow the dead to work and the buttons are all over the place. All work as expected with stock firmware

Same issue on v3.9.3 with 8bitdo USB Adapter 2 + m30 bluetooth pad
