Doodba Copier Template v2.5.0 has been released, and packed with new stuff!

This topic will serve as a hub to discuss and comment the latest updates to https://github.com/Tecnativa/doodba-copier-template that come with version 2.5.0.

This release brings a lot of improvements and fixes, so feel free to ask questions or suggest some other improvements and fixes through here. 😃

In particular, we now have:

1. Buttons to launch certain tasks from VSCode
   

2. Improve the debugging experience inside VSCode:

   • You will no longer get a timeout when launching the debug configurations. You might have to wait longer for the debugging session to start, but you shouldn't get more errors like needing to relaunch the debugging session.
   • You can now debug tests! 🥳 Just launch the Test and debug current module debug configuration and the tests will start. You will get the logs in the Debug console and the code will stop in any breakpoint you set (both in tests code and in normal Odoo code). The task automatically detects the module you are working on based on the current file you have open.
     
   • The path mappings between the code files and the debugger server in the container have been fixed, and you shouldn't get more errors like the debugger not finding the file.
   • The debugging tasks have been simplified, and are now easier to understand.
   • A workaround has been added to fix some bugs where the debugging server would map the code files incorrectly. (See workspaceRoot -> workspaceFolder doodba-copier-template#187)

3. New tasks in invoke:

   • Test task that runs the tests for the module you indicate (can pass by name, by a path to some file belonging to that module, or it can detect the current module based on the working directory). This has a respective VSCode task to launch it easily.
     
   • Install task that installs the module(s) indicated (can receive a module name, a path to some file or detect the current working directory like in the test tasks, or install all core, extra or private addons)
   • The logs task now allows you to get the logs for a single or several containers.

4. The Doodba image is now obtained from the Github Container Registry, instead of from Docker Hub, avoiding the new pull limits.
