Autocomplete not working for imports

When getting the autocomplete list from typing import Dat neither using Tab nor Enter works for autocompleting.
If Tab or Space is pressed while the autocomplete list is shown the text reverts to import .
Both Tab and Space autocomplete works fine for symbols outside of imports.
