Steps to Reproduce

  1. I faced this issue before but did not pay much mind to it. I deleted the modpack (instance) from my forge files.
  2. I then reinstalled the modpack through forge
  3. I created new single-player world and played on it for some time
  4. I logged off and closed the launcher (yesterday)
  5. I logged back in (today)
  6. The launcher and game menu launched with no difficulties
  7. When I pressed the play button on my chosen world, it took some time to load and then I saw "Error in currently selected data packs prevented the world from loading"
  8. Apparently trying to create a new world resulted in a subsequent crash of the game itself

Additional Information

I am playing on Apple ARM Mac
I installed and launched Minecraft through curseforge program

update: I deleted and reinstalled the modpack again.
Before that I pulled my world save file out.
Through the newer version of the launcher I was able to start my world back up.
I did not launch it by pressing "Start the game" button and instead used menu on the top right corner of the launcher.
