If imitation is the best form of flattery, then this package does exactly the same thing as yours. Curious why @risul has created it, vs. submitting PRs for whatever might be different.

No idea why he created his own package. NIH syndrome? 😄

This would be totally unnecessary if the MDG got their act together and had an easy way to pull RequireJS-compatible packages into Meteor projects.
