Hello!

I'm trying to figure out the sound in ThinStation. I'm using version 6.2.

I encountered an issue with sound output through USB headphones. Previously, I also tried to configure the microphone, and after adding one parameter, the microphone started working, but the sound is still absent. I added the following parameter to thinstation.conf.buildtime, which helped enable the microphone:

USB_MOUNT_DIR="/mnt/usbdevice"

If I connect headphones with a 3.5mm jack, the sound is there, but I need the sound to also work when using USB headphones.

Please advise what needs to be added to thinstation.conf.buildtime to enable sound.

No one has come up with a solution yet.... Sad...
I tried to find a solution, but I had, although the sound worked via USB, but for some reason playback was slowed down - the speed was about 0.8-0.9 (subjective values). Not only sound, but also video slowed down - I didn't notice any trilling or similar - just slow playback.
Everything works fine via AUX. Even as soon as I took out a USB headset and plugged in AUX, the speed immediately became normal. And vice versa. All this was done with video/audio stopped and without stopping.
I tried different parameters in alsa, pulseaudio. I even have an idea to try to enable pipewire: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/wikis/Config-PipeWire.
At the moment the problem has not been solved.
