With the display disabled, or with the VS1053 test sketch, it doesn't crash. Once the display is enabled, there seems to be a race condition that causes a hang which gets caught by the watchdog and triggers a reset. This may only happen if the display is refreshing while playing music: it doesn't seem to crash when playback is paused.
