I'm experiencing that too! when you make too many paddles, the cells move around. it even occurs outside of paddles.

there probably needs to be some sort of check that sets velocity to zero when an atom gets attached

What about limiting the number of paddles? Or decreasing lag by auto-generalising simalar rules?

I think the reason that they gilde is because of lag.
