In Mobile-mode, the funnel-like icon that must be clicked to show the menu is not very intuitive. So users might not find the menu:

Interesting, found that article, where they did user testing, and "filter" as word was much more intuitive than the symbol: https://www.quora.com/What-icons-best-represent-filter-refine-in-an-iPhone-app
