We noticed, that an icon would be very helpful to be in the menu interface instead of the "change language" written description. The very good example of wikibase was leading us to the idea to search for an adequat option for the transformap-viewer.
http://www.languageicon.org/ is an initiative with the aim to provide an international language icon. They operate a "relax" license, which states "You are suggested but not required to attribute the work when using for internet / digital use.".
Here it can be seen in different sizes: http://fontawesome.io/icon/language/
