Delete is in scare quotes because it's probably better to only deactivate and hide them

Am I correct that if I were to delete a group, All items that relate to it will also dissappear? So I should create some extra logic to check whether the group is "deleted" . And apply this where appropriate?
Perhaps we can have a small chat about this tomorrow?
