From Google search it looks like there is an HTML workaround on the forum.
Is this documented anywhere else?

Almost half a year has passed since the day of the first post in this thread and also since the last commit. The site is still not working. It seems that the project was abandoned. Correct me if this is not true (i hope i am wrong).

Luckily it was archived by The Internet Archive in 2017 (the latest version before the site went down, I assume).

This project seems very promising. Shame to see it get abandoned.

Unfortunately it looks like the dropbox link no longer works and you can't download the jar from the Web archived home page anymore. The project doesn't currently build at head, but I checked out the commit just before the last one (on Windows, or commit 5460822 on MacOS) and it builds for me. Then I'm able to run with the following:
gradlew run

@fgnm I don't see a forked repository of Overlap2D in your profile and you're not appear on the fork list for this repository. Did you clone or mark the repo as private?

@acknapp check my pinned repository, it's called HyperLap2D. I haven't use Github fork because I've reworked all project structure, dependencies and many core aspects, a new blank repo made things much easier to manage in future, that's why I've changed the name too, it still has a Overlap2D beating heart, but is slowly becoming something more and different
