For example, image size and compression import settings should be taken into account. The imported size is often much smaller than the size on disk. This will be helpful:

  • When sorting, we will get a better picture of what the expensive assets are.
  • When comparing files, people new to Unity will not mistakenly think a .psd costs more than a .jpg.
