Is rm data.pickle;sudo docker restart omc not sufficient? What exactly is your use case? I've never had this issue. Sure, python can monitor files for changes (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/watchdog), but it's non-trivial to do and involves all sorts of edge cases, like running out of open file handles. I know mitmproxy has had this issue - mitmproxy/mitmproxy#383
