This issue occurs when only Valkyrien Skies and addons are installed and no other mods

What do you think checking this box means, remove all other mods and see if the issue persists.

No, it doesn't, you have optifine installed, if you removed all mods except for vs2 then the issue would not persist. Remove optifine
