How to use Venus Dapp with Ledger Live and Venus Plugin

Before you start

There are a few requirements before you start

  1. Have your Ledger initialized and ready to go. You can check this article.
  2. Make sure you installed the latest firmware.
  3. Install Ledger Live. You can use this tutorial if you don't know how to do it.

Install Venus App

  1. Open Ledger Live app and go to the Manager.
  2. Connect your Ledger and unlock it.
  3. On the device, accept when it asks for Allow Ledger Manager.
  4. Back to Ledger Live, in the App Catalog, search Yearn.
  5. Click the Install button.
  6. You will see an installation progress bar in Ledger Live and Processing... message in your device.
  7. When the installation is done, you a ready to go.

Benefits

Having Venus app in your Ledger will allow you to see and verify your actions with the Venus Protocol, before confirming the transaction. This is great to be able to confirm that you are signing what you really want to do.
