Distance between camera and subject

Hi!

I am photographing a business card.
When I set the resolution to 1600x900, I have to move the phone 8-10 cm from the object than when setting the default resolution. And the higher the resolution, the farther from the object.

How to make the distance smaller with higher resolution?
