Imagine you just sent a Christmas card link to your friend Maria. You added some ether, so she can play with a couple of DApps. Luckily you are sitting next to her when she opens the link. She installs the wallet and you start showing her all those fancy DApps. You buy a cryptokitty, swap some stable coins, bet on some weird Chinese prediction market. You even try to explain how a decentralized exchange works. You fail, but it doesn't matter - You got lots of fun and she is hooked.

You are a great friend! But what if weren't around? If you want to onboard your friend in Hawaii?

We should give some guidance in what to do with the ether and the token your friend just received. Currently, on the last DApp screen, this button opens a small popup:

Loading

Let's brainstorm!

One obvious call we are missing atm, is telling the receiver to check out the Giveth campaign. It's great to track your friends funds down and read about the funding goal, milestones, etc.

Yes please and thank you!!

And since it is given in the Giver's name, we need to show it to them most of all!

Dani, Michael and I are available to help.

The dream would be if it linked to the campaign for the Receiver in the screen above: https://beta.giveth.io/campaigns/5c0e84ea06392d786b64d484

But for the Giver, that has the donation attached to their account, in the screen below it would be awesome if it linked to https://beta.giveth.io/profile and asked them to put down "a" name and picture to attribute the donation to and if they want to be notified when their donation is allocated to a cause, they can put in an email too.

@GriffGreen To be sure. This scenario is not possible:

We ask the giver to add "a" name to a text field, and send this name with the transaction. Once the transaction is through, the giveth dapp UI shows this name instead of the giver's eth address.

Instead the user has to go to https://beta.giveth.io/profile to add & update his info manually?

@artyomignatyev please have a look at my designs in our figma! Tried to 1. fix the problem above and 2. make the info about charity more visible to the receiver.

I think that is easiest because we need the user to switch to the Rinkeby network and send a transaction there, we also offer them the option of putting int their email and putting up a picture.

And can i suggest different text for the giveth button?

"Want to attribute your donation? Create a Giveth profile!"

(on the button) "Create a Profile"
